Make room for jewellery in your video-call frame
Your screen shows only part of the outfit you see in the mirror. Before your next call, check your jewellery in the camera preview.

Start with the edges of the frame
The necklace you chose while getting dressed may sit below the bottom edge of a video call. That does not make it a wrong choice: the other person is seeing only part of your outfit.
Open the camera preview before joining. How much of your face, shoulders and neckline is visible? Keep the laptop where you will use it and start with that small area.
Choose the detail you want to show
Suppose you are wearing an open-neck polo and small hoops. If your necklace falls outside the frame, you do not need to add another piece just for the screen. Your earrings can be the only jewellery detail visible on this call.
If you specifically want to show your necklace, adjust the camera angle slightly and check again. Does it work without losing your face from the frame? If you dislike the result, return to the original position: the screen does not have to dictate your outfit for the whole day.
Try a one-sentence rehearsal
With the preview open, say your opening sentence naturally. A ring may briefly appear as you gesture; you do not need to keep your hand in view. The aim is a frame in which you can speak comfortably, rather than a jewellery display.
Today's small experiment: take one minute before the call and change just one setting. Once you settle on a camera position, move on to the conversation without repeatedly adjusting your jewellery. The cover scene with Linda is AI-generated, not a recording of an actual call or a product photograph.
